What is Restore Discs Planet USA ?

We are a laptop and desktop computers service provider, owned by IT Planet Services. Founded in 1998, our main business is software installation and maintenance for medium and large size companies all around the USA. One year later, in 1999,  our online end-user service and internet sales unit. Thousands of Customers over the past decade have experienced the easiness of ordering system installation discs through our website and setting their computers back to new condition in a very short time.


What services and products do you offer?

What is included in each installation set?

Each installation set (also known as system recovery or system restore CDs or DVDs) includes a full version of Windows operating system, all necessary drivers, and currently supported applications for your computer model. For some brands and/or models, you don't need to select the Windows operating system version because we already know which one your model came with. For other brands or models, the Windows operating system version you select (Vista, XP, XP Media Center, 2000, or 98se) must match the license or COA (Certificate of Authenticity) sticker attached to your computer in order to validate your license when you use the installation set you bought from us. You can easily locate the COA sticker at the bottom of your laptop or at the back of your desktop computer. Please contact us if you don't have a COA attached to your computer.


How do I buy installation discs for my computer from you?

You can order the installation discs for your computer in just one minute. Our website will guide you easily to select your computer type (laptop or desktop), brand, and model. You may also be required to select the operating system you run in your computer. It is important that you select the computer model you own when you place your order. Installation media is made by the manufacturer on a per-model basis.


What payment options do I have?

For your security, we only accept payments through PayPal. Restore Discs Planet USA is PayPal Verified. You can use your credit or debit card to order from us using PayPal. It is easy, fast, and safe. You don't even have to create a PayPal account (if you don't have one) to use your credit/debit card through PayPal. Sales tax applies to all orders shipped to Arizona residents.


Do you share any information with third parties?

No, we do not. Doing so is what we consider poor business practice.


Is my payment information safe?

Your payment information stays with PayPal. We only receive a PayPal notification of your payment along with your name and shipping address to send your order. No information about your account number, credit, or debit card is ever sent to us by PayPal.


How do I contact you if I need help installing my computer?

Please use our customized Customer Service contact form. It is easy and your question arrives at our Customer Service representatives within minutes. You will receive an answer in no more than 24 hours (normally way less than that). At times, the volume of emails our Customer Service Department receives may be larger than usual, which may slow down our reply process.


Do you have a phone number I can call to contact you?

Yes, we do. However, our direct phone lines and 1-800 number are currently reserved for our Corporate-level Customers. For end-user services, as offered through our website, we implemented a customized Contact Form to make communication fast and easy for you and, at the same time, keep our prices low. In certain cases, we will be able to offer phone support at a rate of $74.00 per 15 minutes. However, less than 1% of our end-user Customers have had a need of phone support as installation sets are made step-by-step, easy to install by the manufacturer.


What is your Satisfaction Guaranteed policy?

It is very simple: If you are not satisfied with the product we refund your payment.


How long will my order take to arrive?

For USA Customers, your order should usually arrive in 1 to 3 days (average delivery time). Keep in mind the post office may not route packages during weekends or holidays.


Can I download ISO images to burn the install media myself?

Sorry, we do not have ISO download service at this time. However, all orders ship out within 24 hours and you will receive your installation discs within a few days.


I don't live in the USA, do you ship to my country?

Yes, we do. Restore Discs Planet USA  ships worldwide by regular airmail.


What if the product arrives damaged?

You only need to contact us through our customized Customer Service form letting us know your item was damaged in transit and we will ship you another set immediately. No additional payments are required.


Do you accept returns or exchanges?

In general, software can not be returned. It can only be exchanged by the same model. However, we do accept returns and/or exchanges when the product is not as you expected. This is our Satisfaction Guaranteed policy.


Can I select any Windows operating system version for my computer?

You must select the operating system as stated in the COA license sticker you have attached to your computer. Most laptops have it at the bottom. Most desktops have it at the back of the CPU case. You can also ask us what operating system your model came with from the manufacturer.


Do I need a license or COA sticker to install my computer?

Yes, you do. If you don't have one you may contact us to find out what the options are to get your computer reinstalled. Almost all laptops and desktop computers ship from the manufacturer with operating system COA license. It is usually located at the bottom of your laptop or at the back of your desktop. You will need your computer’s COA license to activate the operating system. We do not give, share, or copy licenses.
